Are you currently preparing to take the official UCAT ANZ? The UCAT ANZ registration opened on Monday 2nd March 2020 and will close on Monday 11th May 2020 at 11.59pm AEST.
Here, we provide step-by-step instructions for how to sign up for it. This involves a strict two-step online registration process consisting of creating a Pearson VUE web account and booking the UCAT ANZ exam.
The UCAT ANZ 2020 takes place between Wednesday 1st July and Friday 31st July 2020 in one of many Pearson VUE test centres throughout Australia, New Zealand and other overseas locations.
First, you need to sign up for a Pearson VUE web account here, unless you already have an account (you can only create one account). You’ll need to register for your test personally, as this can’t be done by your school nor college.
Click on the “Create a web account” link.
If you don’t scroll down and tick the box, the following ‘Alert!’ message will pop up on your screen. If this happens just simply go back a step and try again.
Scroll all the way down to the bottom, tick the “I have read and agree to the above terms” box and then finally click on the “I Agree” button.
First, select the small circle that says “No, I do not know my UCAT ANZ ID." Once you’re registered you will be emailed your UCAT ANZ ID which is used as your account number so you are easily identifiable when contacting the UCAT ANZ consortium.
”You will then be required to enter your personal information, including your name, date of birth and email. All fields with an asterisk (*) must be filled in. Remember that you’ll need to register with your legal name, exactly as it appears on your photo ID. And of course, you must be present at the test centre; you can’t ask someone else to sit your test on your behalf. If you don’t enter your legal name exactly as it appears on your ID (or if you arrive at the test centre on the day without your photo ID), you will not be able to take your test on the day.
Your email address helps with future correspondence, so you can easily be contacted with details about your test. It will also be the email address that your results will be sent to.
If you miss a step or a box or make a mistake, you will be notified with red highlighted boxes and a message typed in red informing you of what information is required as you can see above.
You will then be required to enter your contact information, including your address and telephone number.
You will then be required to answer an additional question about your gender.
Next, you will need to create a unique username (press the “Check Availability” button to check) and a password that contains 8 or more characters, combines uppercase and lowercase letters, and numbers or symbols. You can also set three security questions on this page.
Once you click “Finish”, you will be directed to your dashboard.
Now that you’ve registered, you can go ahead and book the best day and location for you to sit your UCAT ANZ. Our advice, from experience, is to not leave this too late as places fill up fast and if you don’t get in quick you could end up travelling quite far on an unsuitable day.
On your dashboard, you should see the “UCAT_ANZ: UCAT Australia and New Zealand” link under “Exam Catalog”. Click on the link.
You should then see the “Exam Details” page, and should click “Next”. You can also find some information about concession schemes here.
You will then be asked a series of questions about yourself. Fill these out accurately and proceed.
You can then select your test centre (closest one to you, or whatever is the most convenient for you), and your test date and time.
You will then be directed to enter your payment details, after which you can submit your order and will receive a confirmation email that your test has been booked.
Congratulations! You are now one step closer to your dream of becoming a doctor or a dentist.
