The UCAT ANZ Scratch Pad Will Not Be Available for 2021

UCAT Information

What’s the news?

The onscreen scratch pad was introduced in 2020 during COVID-19. Its purpose was to allow UK students sitting the UCAT at home (i.e. ‘UCAT Online’) to make notes during the exam.

According to the official UCAT, the onscreen scratch pad will not be available for 2021. The official practice materials will be updated in due course to reflect this change.

What does this mean for you?

Stop using the scratch pad while solving UCAT practice questions. Instead, use a marker pen and a whiteboard, or laminated sheets, to make notes and carry out your workings. It is important to practise under real-test conditions with the tools provided.

Medify’s response

We’ve removed the scratch pad functionality on our Online UCAT Course so that all our students can practise under the real UCAT exam conditions. When you are practising with Medify’s UCAT course, you are using the most up-to-date and accurate exam client.
